As discussed in a previous post, vitamin A is good for ocular health. Carrots are high in plant vitamin A, which is beta carotene. They aid in blood flow to the eyes and eye area.
In TCM, the eyes are the window, or sensory organ, to the liver. If you’re experiencing any eye issues, you may have a liver that is not functioning properly.
